Sweet, like vanilla.

It is used for spasms, pain, cough, and itch. “Bitter almond” is a volatile oil. Similar to bitter almond, these volatile oils. Please use with caution because they are considered poisonous.

Some skin uses are for soothing dry skin, almond oil can improve complexion and skin tone. It’s highly emollient, which means it helps to balance the absorption of moisture and water loss. Because it is antibacterial and full of vitamin A, almond oil can be used to treat acne. Use at 0.5% to 1% mix in your carrier oil.

Should not be confused with Sweet Almond Oil!
Almond oil, which is also called sweet almond oil, is not the same as bitter almond oil. Bitter almond oil is made from a different variety of almonds.

Blends well with Bergamot, Coriander, Cypress, Frankincense, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Myrrh, Orange, Petitgrain, Rose and Sandalwood.
